Frederic W. Malek - Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Frederic W. Malek is chief executive officer and co-founder of TIG Global, LLC, the premier provider of interactive hospitality sales and marketing services for the travel industry. Mr. Malek oversees all aspects of the company's growth, performance, and operations. Prior to founding TIG Global, Mr. Malek served as vice president of acquisitions and new business development at Thayer Lodging Group, a private hotel ownership group with a nationwide portfolio. Mr. Malek was responsible for the company's new business ventures, strategic developments, operations, and Internet distribution strategies. During his tenure at Thayer Lodging, Mr. Malek spearheaded the growth of the company's hotel assets from 2,000 to 4,000 rooms, adding an incremental $1 billion to the portfolio valuation.
Previously, Mr. Malek worked for Bank of America and for Nomura Capital (later known as Capital Company of America), a major real estate hedge fund focused on commercial mortgage-backed securities with an emphasis in hotels. He also served in several areas of the military, including a tour of duty in the Navy Special Forces and a combat mission in Desert Storm. Mr. Malek holds a bachelors of science from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
Trip Schneck - President & Co-Founder
Trip Schneck is president and co-founder of TIG Global, LLC. As president, Mr.Schneck is responsible for the overall strategic direction, development, and operations of TIG Global, which offers strategic interactive hotel sales and marketing programs with the proven ability to raise online visibility, drive direct incremental revenue, and deliver unrivaled ROI to hotels.
Previously, Mr. Schneck served as vice president of asset management and strategy at Thayer Lodging group, a private hotel ownership group with a nationwide portfolio. Mr. Schneck oversaw distribution strategies, revenue management, sales, marketing, and business development initiatives across the company. Mr. Schneck was also responsible for the asset management of the portfolio, comprising 23 hotels with a market value in excess of $2 billion.
Prior to joining Thayer Lodging Group, Mr. Schneck served as the operations director for several hotels and as a consultant working with large pension funds to improve hotel investment operations. Mr. Schneck holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.
Mr. Schneck currently serves on the Advisory Board for Cornell University's Center for Hospitality Research.
Gideon Dean - Senior Vice President of Global Hospitality Sales & Marketing
Gideon Dean is senior vice president of global hospitality sales at TIG Global, LLC. Mr. Dean oversees the company's marketing and business development departments, including sales of the company's best-of-breed interactive marketing and management solution and the creation of new partnerships to enhance TIG Global's range of services for the hospitality industry.
Before joining TIG Global, Mr. Dean operated in key sales and executive management roles over a ten-year career with Pegasus Solutions, one of the largest third-party marketing and reservation provider in the world. Most recently, he was senior vice president – Global Sales, Account Management and Service Delivery and managed top line revenues and deal profitability for all service lines.
Mr. Dean also possesses extensive international experience. For Pegasus Solutions, he was based in the London office with responsibility for the sales, marketing and development of all Pegasus’ products and services outside the Americas.
Mr. Dean has a background in hotel operations, including five years with Southern Sun Hotel Corporation in South Africa. After moving to Europe, he held management positions with Utell International and Reed Travel Group for eight years.
Mr. Dean is currently a Visiting Fellow at the University of Surrey’s School of Management Studies.
Paul Peddrick - Senior Vice President of Creative & Technical Services
Paul Peddrick is TIG Global's senior vice president of strategic accounts and chief creative consultant. In these roles, Mr. Peddrick oversees Creative Direction at TIG Global, as well as the Custom Application Development practice. By focusing on the nexus of usability and technology, Mr. Peddrick helps TIG Global hospitality clients maximize brand development, functionality, efficiency, and revenue in their online presence.
Previously, Mr. Peddrick was Director of Application Strategy at Bixler Incorporated, where he oversaw client engagement and product development. Employing strategic analysis and definition, he helped Fortune 500 clients in the hospitality, publishing, and manufacturing industries achieve ROI through use of web-based applications. Mr. Peddrick has also held management positions in the advertising and publishing sectors. He holds a bachelors of arts from the University of Virginia.
Doug Broujos - Senior Vice President of Client Services
Doug Broujos is senior vice president of client services with TIG Global. In this role, Mr. Broujos oversees experienced client teams specifically focused on client consultation, service, and performance. Each client team works closely with their hotel client and utilizes TIG Global resources to continuously drive both return on investment and satisfaction. Client teams currently include 12 directors and managers, 14 web marketing analysts, and support staff. Given TIG Global's highly
consultative, client-focused approach to interactive design and marketing, the client services areas are the core to TIG Global's proven model and loyal client base.
Prior to joining TIG Global, Mr. Broujos was Senior Vice President of Marketing and E-Commerce for 3Di Technologies, an international GIS data management company with clients in the banking, telecommunications, and travel sectors. In addition to leading the company's marketing strategy, he managed the operational integration for five acquisitions, and was responsible for creating national client-service teams and further enhancing customer relationships.
Prior to that, Mr. Broujos founded one of the first commercial Internet Service Providers in Maryland, which was acquired by a CBS-TV affiliate. He started his career in commercial banking and advertising.
Mr. Broujos has experience in startup, high-growth, and public firms, and holds bachelors of sciences and MBA degrees.
